1996 Honda passportI have a 96 honda passport lx 3.2 liter 2wd. It was running fine before the guy replaced the TP sensor, and cleaned the MAF and the IAC valve. It ran fine for him when he test drove it. Then the next morning it wouldnt stay started for more than a few seconds. When i start it up it runs for a second then dyes. I can keep revving it and it will prolong it from dying. but as soon as i take my foot off the gas it dies. sometimes it will idle for awhile. sometime it jus dies right away. The last few times ive tried it made this squealing noise before it shuttered and died. Please help?????

1996 Honda Accord accordWe washed our 1996 accords motor while running sprayed a bit of 409 on it then used a hosepipe to rinse off.. Was ok untill backed it up and it died thought a bit of water was in it and would dry out.. when it started back up about 1/2hr will idle good but when it hits around 1400 rpm motor shuts off.. 86 Honda Prelude 86I recently bought an 86 prelude 5 speed that has an 84 engine in that the P.O. had some one put in.The car ran great,I checked the air filter and it was filthy.I replaced it and the car ran a lot better.A week went by and I drove into work just fine.When I left work the engine was sputtering and eventually died at a light.I pushed it into the gas station and could smell gas from the engine compartment.Gas was leaking out of the bottom of the air cleaner box.After limping it home and trying to trouble shoot it I had the air box off and started the motor and gas was pouring from the air vent solenoid housing where the two vent tubes connect.I pulled the lines off the vent solenoid housing and left the lines attached to the vent tubes and started it up again.Gas is pouring right out of the vent tubes.I noticed today that gas is dripping out of the bottom of the charcoal canister.Me and a friend tried no avail to fix it today.Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is currently my only transportation for me and my 3 year old son.Thanks in advance

2000 Honda AccordThe car showed a high temperature. I took it to the mechanic who fill it up with coolant, check everything and said he could not find anything. Two weeks later the temperature rise again, I check and the coolant container was empty, I have to refill completely and the temperature went down, I did not see any spill, so I wonder where the coolant is going, if it is not spilling, and if it could be some hose, or the radiator itself.

As I was driving it after the mechanic checked I also notice white smoke coming from the tail pipe. No overheating and no check engine light on. Just lack of power when it get to about 3rd gear . 1997 Honda Civic cx hatchbackcould an overcharging alternator cause a short? i put a new engine and trans in my 97 civic cx. worked fine for 3 to 4 months. one day the battery was dead after driving a few miles. i replaced the battery and alternator. the next day came out and the battery was dead again. did some tests and inspected most of the wiring and everything was good. let the car sit for a month while i was out of town. i used it for about 2 days and the new alternator started to overcharge. 17 volts at idle, caused the battery to swell and boil. popped the caps off. replaced both again. it is charging at 13 to 14 volts now, but when i turn on the head lights the battery light flickers on and off. after about a week of use i came out to start it in the morning and the battery was dead again. have gone over all the wiring again and nothing is grounding out, blowing fuses, or shorting out. could it be the computer. i am stumped. could really use some help i need my gas saver fixed. thanks.

92 Honda prelude siHi i have a 92 prelude si that has the 2.3 h23 motor. i just got the motor back in after replacing all the seals, CVs, struts, ball joints, motor mounts and a new clutch. my problem is at a stop as the clutch starts to engage there is a shutter but once fully engaged it goes away and dosent happen anymore not with changing gears or anything. was curious if my flywheel was warped cause that i did not replace or if the clutch just needs broke in??
2005 Honda Civic civic2005 Honda Civic Ex, 137K. Problem started with fluctuation in the temp. gauge. Very limited at first, in an hour drive it would bounce up/down three four times. Had therm. changed. problem went away for about 2 weeks. Now its back, with at twist - spikes up. If I turn heater and fan on and it returns to normal when turned off to a resting position just below mid-mark. I have no smells, no smoke and all my hoses are attached. Radiator fluid levels are the only thing that when I top off slow the problem down. The air has been bleed from radiator. Timing belt was changed at 90K, belts and hoses changed also. I understand it can be a blocked radiator or hose issue or water pump, head gaskett and warped heads. picture. What is the best way to proceed here. To have this diagnosed and fixed.

My Wife Drove It To A Meeting After I Got Home From Work Today And That Is When It Started To Act Up. There Is A Loss Of Power, Need To Keep Rpm Above 2000 To Start Off From Stop In 1st Gear. It Will Idle But If You Snap The Throttle It Will Die. If You Pump It Fast The Rmp Will Climb. Pulled Off Hose To Carb At Fuel Pump And Pump Is Pumping. Is Converter Plugged? Ohter Emissions Problems? I Checked Rotor And Cap And All Was Good Too. Not Sure Where To Start, No Diagnostics On This Old Classic.

I took my car Friday and they put a new distributor because it did stop as I was driving it 2nd time only. I thought that was the problem then it did it again click, started right up next try.
